Plant a tree

Are you interested in helping us look after the environment, including improving our waterways and birdlife?  During winter 2019 we started a new project to do just that. We planted over a thousand native plants around a large dam below our Farmstay. This has been fenced off and is a gorgeous spot for everyone to enjoy. The Dam area also consists of a small waterfall (seasonal) and friendly ducks which you can hand feed. For $40 you can purchase a native plant (we organise this part) and together with your family/friends, you will plant it around the dam. This plant will represent your family/group and the memories made on the farm and maybe one day you will return to see it again. In the meantime, we will take care of your plant and you can feel great about helping us take care of the environment.

Price: $50 per plant/planting

Want to do a spot of shopping?

Past guests have shared with us that they would like to purchase something from our farm to help them remember their stay. We now offer Rangitikei Farmstay Lanolin Hand Cream and have a small plant nursery. Please note this is cash only.
